Bears & Giants Interested In OT Bobby Massie

Josh Weinfuss of ESPN reports that the Bears and Giants are interested in Cardinals free agent OT Bobby Massie.

  • Weinfuss adds that his market isn’t near $8 million per year as of now.

Yesterday, Jason Cole of B/R reported that the Broncos are expected to make a “serious run” at signing Massie. Before that, Cole mentioned that he expected Massie to “get a lot of play” in the coming days and possibly land over $8 million per year in his next deal.

Massie, 26, is a former fourth-round pick of the Cardinals back in 2012. He’s played out his rookie contract and appears to be in line for a big raise in the coming days.

In 2015, Massie appeared in 14 games for the Cardinals and was rated by Pro Football Focus as the No. 45 offensive tackle out of 77 qualifying players.

We have him featured in our Top 100 – 2016 Free Agents list.
