Bears Making A QB Change?

The Caleb Hanie portion of the season has been to most forgettable period of Chicago Bears football in recent memory. Sunday’s blowout home loss to the Seattle Seahawks highlighted just how bad things have gotten for a team that at one point looked like a Super Bowl contender.

Bears head coach Lovie Smith told reporters that he’s not sure who will be under center against the Green Bay Packers on Christmas night.

“I mean, it’s right after the game and we’re disappointed in our performance today in the quarterback position,” the coach lamented, per Michael C. Wright of ESPNChicago.com. But I can’t tell you any more than that.”

Several reports have suggested that the Bears should turn to backup QB Josh McCown. Rookie QB Nathan Enderle’s name has also come up but it’s clear that the Bears will have to consider all of their options at this point.
