Bears Met With LB Kevin Pierre-Louis On Friday

Field Yates of ESPN reports that the Bears hosted free agent LB Kevin Pierre-Louis for a visit on Friday.

This is the second visit in as many days for Pierre-Louis, as he met with the Jets on Thursday.

Pierre-Louis, 26, is a former fourth-round pick of the Seahawks back in 2014. The Chiefs traded LB D.J. Alexander to the Seattle Seahawks in exchange for Pierre-Louis last summer.

Pierre-Louis played out the final year of his four-year, $2.605 million contract and is currently an unrestricted free agent.

This offseason, Pierre-Louis was arrested and charged with misdemeanor possession of marijuana, THC and drug paraphernalia, driving without a valid driver’s license and failure to display a valid license plate or current registration.

In 2017, Pierre-Louis appeared in 14 games for the Chiefs and recorded 41 tackles, no sacks or interceptions and two pass defenses.
