Ian Rapoport of NFL Media reports that the Bears are releasing OLB Sam Acho on Tuesday.
Acho’s coming off of a season-ending torn pec, but has been a solid special teams player.
Acho, 30, is a former fourth-round pick of the Cardinals back in 2011. He spent four years in Arizona before he signed on with the Bears as an unrestricted free agent back April of 2015.
Acho played two seasons on one-year contracts with the Bears before agreeing to a to a two-year contract last offseason.
In 2018, Acho appeared in four games for the Bears and recorded one tackle and no sacks.
