Bears Showing Interest In LB Lofa Tatupu?

ESPN Chicago is reporting that both Lofa Tatupu and the Chicago Bears are showing mutual interest in the idea of Tatupu playing for Chicago.

Assistant GM Tim Ruskell drafted Tatupu back in 2005 while he was the Seahawks GM. The fit does seem a bit strange considering that Chicago has Brian Urlacher holding down their middle line backer position.

Tatupu is coming off of a disappointing season in Seattle and has suffered a few injuries in the past few seasons. Tatupu, 28, is a three-time Pro Bowler who could be a worth while investment for the looking to add depth.
