Aaron Wilson reports that the Bears are bringing in rookie LB/S Josh Woods for a tryout this week during their mandatory minicamp.
Woods wound up going undrafted out of Maryland a few months ago. Unfortunately, he has yet to secure an opportunity with an NFL team.
During his four-year college career at Maryland, Woods recorded 107 tackles, 5.5 tackles for a loss, two interceptions, a forced fumble and six pass defenses over the course of 23 games.
