The Chicago Bears officially waived DE Abdullah Anderson on Monday.
Anderson, 23, wound up going undrafted out of Bucknell back in 2018. He later signed a three-year, $1.71 million contract with the Bears, but was waived coming out of the preseason.
Chicago later added Anderson to their practice squad before bringing him back on a futures contract this past January. He was once again among their final roster cuts, but re-signed to the Bears’ practice squad and was recently promoted to their active roster.
In 2019, Anderson has appeared in two games and recorded one tackle for the Bears.
