Bears Waive LB Jonathan Anderson, Promote DL Rashaad Coward

The Chicago Bears announced that they have waived LB Jonathan Anderson from their active roster and promoted DL Rashaad Coward from their practice squad.

Anderson, 25, wound up signing on with the Bears as an undrafted free agent out of TCU back in May of 2015. He was unable to make the 53-man roster coming out of the preseason but was later added to the team’s practice squad.

Anderson has been on and off of the team’s active roster since entering the NFL.

In 2017, Anderson has appeared in 10 games and recorded nine tackles and no sacks or interceptions for the Bears.
