Bears Waive QB Dalyn Williams

The Chicago Bears announced that they’ve placed QB Dalyn Williams on waivers Wednesday.

This shortly after the news that the Bears have signed veteran OL Amini Silatolu to a one-year deal.

Williams, 22, wound up going undrafted out of Dartmouth a few months ago. He previously participated in the Bears’ rookie minicamp on a tryout basis and was later signed to a contract in June when Chicago waived QB Matt Blanchard

During his college career, Williams threw for 7,458 yards while completing 62.7 percent of his passes to go along with 56 touchdowns and 13 interceptions.
