Cooper, 23, wound up signing on with the Steelers as an undrafted out of Indiana (PA) back in May of 2017. He lasted just a few months in Pittsburgh before he was waived at the start of the regular season.
The Giants later signed Cooper to their practice squad before bringing him back on a futures contract but was cut loose during the preseason.
During his college career at Indiana (PA), Cooper started 37 games at left guard and right tackle and was a first-team D-2 All-America as a senior.
Cooper has yet to appear in an NFL game.
