ESPN’s Chris Mortensen reports that sources have told him that Steelers QB Ben Roethlisberger‘s left foot not broken but sprained.
Monday’s MRI showed that he suffered only a sprain despite concerns that he actually broke his left foot yesterday. Roethlisberger’s status for Week 5’s game against the Tennessee is unclear but NFL.com’s Jason La Canfora tweets that he “wouldn’t be surprised if Big Ben started Sun.”
Roethlisberger was seen wearing a walking boot last night but has dealt with similar injuries in years past but if he’s unable to go next week the Steelers are going to be in pretty bad shape to say the least.
