Geoff Hobson of Bengals.com reports that the Cincinnati Bengals have released DT Tank Johnson.
Brian McIntyre of Mac’s Football Blog adds that Johnson was set to make $2.25 million for the 2011 season. Not that the Bengals are concerned about their cap situation as the recent Salary Cap numbers have the team pegged at $27 million under the cap.
Denver just lost one of their defensive tackles so there’s a chance that they could take a chance on the 29 year old but that remains purely speculation as of right now.
