Bengals Have DE Carlos Dunlap On Trade Block

According to Albert Breer of SI.com, the Bengals have veteran DE Carlos Dunlap on the trade leading up to this year’s deadline.

Dunlap posted the Bengals depth chart at defensive end on social media in an attempt to air his frustration with his role in Cincinnati:

Earlier in the week, Breer reported that the Bengals are willing to listen to trade offers for veteran players with Dunlap being a player to keep an eye on as teams have earmarked him as being available.

Dunlap, 31, is a former second-round pick of the Bengals back in 2010. He was in the final year of his five-year, $39.37 million contract when he agreed to a three-year, $45 million contract extension with the Bengals in 2018.

Dunlap has two years remaining on his contract and set to make a base salary of $7,800,000 this season and another $10,250,000 in 2021.

In 2020, Dunlap has appeared in six games for the Bengals and recorded 18 tackles, one sack and two pass defenses.

We’ll have more regarding Dunlap as the news is available.
