Jay Glazer of Fox Sports reported yesterday that the Bengals could be ready to finally deal QB Carson Palmer but added that the deal would only happen at a time that they see fit.
Peter King of Sports Illustrated tweets that the Miami Dolphins would be his first guess.
Both the San Francisco 49ers and Seattle Seahawks checked in with the Bengals at some point last season but it’s hard to gauge whether they would still have interest.
The Bengals asking price could still be an obstacle as they could be looking for a second-round pick in return for him Palmer. The value of draft picks continues to be on the rise so it’s hard to imagine that a deal would get done quickly. It’s a situation that we’ll be monitoring in case there ends up being any movement before the deadline.
