Bengals Waive DT Christian Ringo To Make Room For CB Adam Jones

The Cincinnati Bengals announced Tuesday that they’ve placed DT Christian Ringo on waivers to make room for CB Adam Jones, who has been reinstated from suspension.

Ringo, 25, is a former sixth-round pick of the Packers back in 2015. He was unable to make the 53-man roster during his rookie season but was later signed to their practice squad and eventually brought back on a future/reserve contract last year.

The Packers re-signed Ringo to a one-year, exclusive rights contract worth $615,000 this past April before cutting him loose coming out of the preseason. The Bengals later claimed him off of waivers.

In 2016, Ringo appeared seven games for the Packers and recorded two tackles, a forced fumble and no sacks.
