The COVID-19 list was created this summer for a player who either tests positive for or who has been quarantined after having been in close contact with an infected person or persons.
Players will remain on the list until they are medically cleared to return.
Jackson, 23, was drafted by the Bills in the seventh round out of Pittsburgh this past April. He signed a four-year rookie deal worth $3,376,306 with a signing bonus of $81,306.
During his five-year college career, Jackson recorded 149 total tackles, 1.5 sacks, four forced fumbles, two recoveries, four interceptions, 39 pass defenses and two defensive touchdowns in 46 career games.
