The Buffalo Bills announced Tuesday that they have claimed wide receiver Justin Brown off waivers from the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Brown, 23, was taken by the Steelers in the sixth round of the 2013 NFL Draft. He was unable to make the team’s 53-man roster coming out of the preseason that year, but he was later signed to the team’s practice squad in September.
The Steelers elected to sign Brown to a future’s contract in December of 2013 and he wound up making the team this past season.
In 2014, Brown appeared in eight games and caught 12 passes for 94 yards receiving and no touchdowns.
