The Buffalo Bills announced Wednesday that they recently brought inย TE Jim Dray andย WR Deonte Thompson for visits this week.
- The Bills also confirmed reports that they met withย WR Jeremy Kerley and RB Joique Bell.
Dray, 29, is a former seventh-round pick of the Cardinals back in 2010. He played out his rookie contract with the team before signing a three-year deal with the Browns in 2014.
He was set to make a base salary ofย $1.775 million for the 2016 season when he released along with DT Randy Starks close to a month ago.
In 2015, Dray appeared in all 16 games for the Browns and caught six passes for 61 yards receiving and no touchdowns.
Thompson, 27, signed with the Ravens as an undrafted free agent out ofย Floridaย back in 2012.ย The Bills later signed him off of the Ravensโ practice squad back beforeย was waived at the start of the 2015 season.
Chicago elected to sign him to their practiceย squad a few weeks later and promoted him to the active roster towards the end of the year.
In 2015, Thompsonย appeared in seven games and caught twoย passes for 81ย yards receiving while also contributing 409ย kick return yards for the Bears.
