Ian Rapoport of NFL Media reports that the Bills are hosting former Colts RTÂ Gosder Cherilus for a visit on Wednesday.
It was at least a little surprising to see Indianapolis cut Cherilus loose with three year remaining on his five-year, $34.5 million contract. However, he never lived up to that deal.
Cherilus, 31, had a decent season for the Lions a few years back, which led to him cashing in as a free agent.
For the Bills, it’s certainly worth a look as they could use some more offensive line depth.
In 2014, Cherilus was limited to appearing 13 games for the Colts. Pro Football Focus has him rated as the No. 70 offensive tackle out of 84 qualifying players.
