Bills Hosting S Josh Jones For Visit

According to Adam Schefter, the Bills will host former Packers S Josh Jones for a visit Monday.

Jones was waived by the Packers following a turbulent offseason where the second-round pick sat out of OTA’s and requested a trade.

Green Bay waived Jones with a non-football illness last week. Jones passed unclaimed through waivers.

Jones, 24, was a second-round pick by the Packers out of North Carolina State in 2017. He’s entering the third year of a four-year, $4.2 million deal and is slated to make base salaries of $849,856 and $1,042,284 the next two seasons.

In 2018, Jones appeared in 13 games for the Packers, recording 55 total tackles, one sack, no interceptions and two pass defenses. Pro Football Focus had him rated as the No. 70 safety out of 93 qualifying players.
