Bills QB E.J. Manuel Still 4-6 Weeks Away From Returning

Bills HC Doug Marrone told reporters on Wednesday that rookie QB E.J. Manuel is scheduled to require another four-six weeks of recovery time.

Manuel suffered an LCL sprain close to two weeks ago. The initial timetable presented by the Bills was six-eight weeks, which is in line with their current projections.

Buffalo started Thad Lewis against the Bengals last week, but he unfortunately suffered a foot injury. He was, however, able to practice on Wednesday, so that’s an encouraging sign for his Week 7 status.

The Bills also signed Matt Flynn to a one-year deal and still have undrafted rookie Jeff Tuel on their roster.
