Bills RB Taiwan Jones Out For Season With Broken Arm

Bills HC Sean McDermott announced Friday that RB Taiwan Jones suffered a broken arm during Thursday night’s loss to the Jets and will miss the remainder of the season.

It was clear that Jones’ injury was serious, as an air cast was placed on his arm before he was taken off of the field.

You can expect the Bills to place him on injured reserve in the coming days and add someone to their roster in the coming days.

Jones, 29, is a former fourth-round pick of the Raiders back in 2011. He was in the final year of his four-year, $5 million contract and set to make a base salary of $1.1 million for the 2017 season when the Raiders released him last week in a move that freed up $1.15 million of available cap space.

The Bills signed him to a contract this past August.

In 2017, Jones appeared in eight games and caught one pass for 11 yards receiving and totaled 50 kick return yards.
