Bills Release QB Tarvaris Jackson

The Buffalo Bills have announced the release of QB Tarvaris Jackson on Monday.

Buffalo traded a seventh-round pick to the Seahawks in return for Jackson last year and the Bills wound up re-signing him to a one-year deal worth $2.25 million, which included a $500,000 signing bonus. Unfortunately for him, he wasn’t able to make it to the start of minicamp.

Jackson actually received some first-team reps during the team’s OTAs, but this is clearly a race between Kevin Kolb and first-round pick E.J. Manuel.
