ESPN’s Adam Schefter reports that the Bills have released veteran FB Jerome Felton on Friday, which means Glenn Gronkowski appears to have won the fullback job for Buffalo.
Felton, 30, was in the second year of his four-year, $9.2 million contract that included $4 million guaranteed. He was set to make a base salary of $1.55 million in 2016.
Last year, Felton appeared in all 16 games for the Bills and ran for two years one a single carry and caught on pass for 12 yards receiving and no touchdowns.
