Bills Sign TE Jason Croom To Practice Squad, Release TE Ryan O’Malley

The Buffalo Bills announced Wednesday that they’ve signed TE Jason Croom to their practice squad and released TE Ryan O’Malley from the unit.

The Bills’ practice squad now consists of:

  1. WR Brandon Reilly
  2. G Will Pericak
  3. OT De’Ondre Wesley
  4. WR Malachi Dupre
  5. DE Eric Lee
  6. C Adam Redmond
  7. S L.J. McCray
  8. DB Sammy Seamster
  9. DT Marquavius Lewis
  10. TE Jason Croom

Croom, 23, wound up signing a three-year, $1.66 million contract with the Bills as an undrafted free agent out of Utah back in Tennessee. He stands to make base salaries of $465,000 and $555,000 over the first two years of the contract.

The Bills waived Croom with an injury designation and later reverted to injured reserve. Buffalo elected to release him with an injury settlement back in August.

During his college career at Tennessee, Croom caught 60 passes for 816 yards receiving and six touchdowns over the course of 26 games.
