Adam Caplan reports that the Bills have agreed to terms with LB A.J. Klein on a three-year, $18 million contract that includes $9.7 million fully guaranteed.
Klein is reunited with Bills HC Sean McDermott, who was previously his defensive coordinator while they were together in Carolina.
Klein, 28, is a former fifth-round pick of the Panthers back in 2013. He played out his four-year, $2,351,300 contract before signing on with the Saints in 2017.
In 2019, Klein appeared in 15 games for the Saints and recorded 69 tackles, 2.5 sacks, an interception, a defensive touchdown, a forced fumble, a recovery and two pass defenses. Pro Football Focus has him rated as the No. 75 receiver out of 89 qualifying players.
