The Falcons are expected to sign DE Dante Fowler Jr to a three-year contract on Wednesday, according to Ian Rapoport.
- Vaughn McClure reports that Fowler receives a three-year, $48 million contract from Atlanta.
Fowler announced the news via his Twitter account:

Rumors had said that the Falcons were a team to watch for Fowler, given his ties to HC Dan Quinn and their need for a pass rusher and it looks like they were able to get a deal done in the end.
Fowler, 25, is a former first-round pick of the Jaguars back in 2015. He was traded to the Rams a few years ago for a 2019 third-round pick and a 2020 fifth-round pick.
Fowler played out the final year of his four-year, $23.5 million rookie contract and returned to the Rams last year on a one-year contract worth $14 million.
In 2019, Fowler appeared in all 16 games for the Rams and recorded 58 tackles, 11.5 sacks, two forced fumbles, a recovery, a defensive touchdown, and six pass defenses.
