Brian Urlacher Expected To Play Week 1 Versus Colts

According to the Chicago Tribune, Bears linebacker Brian Urlacher is expected to play against the Indianapolis Colts in the regular season opener.

Urlacher underwent arthroscopic knee surgery two weeks ago, and was initially reported as doubtful for the Week One. However, after going through an experimental blood spinning procedure in Europe, his knee has healed faster than expected.

I expect to see No. 54 on the field next week in practice and playing against the Colts,” Coach Lovie Smith said.
