Mike Klis of 9 News reports that the Broncos are trying out six free agents during their minicamp including P Colby Wadman, LB T.J. McCollum, QB Bo Brewer, DL Antonio Simmons, DL Nordly Capi, and DL Caushaud Lyons.
Capi, 25, originally signed on with the Jaguars as an undrafted free agent out of Akron back in 2015. He was unable to make the 53-man roster coming out of the preseason but later signed on to the Ravens’ practice squad.
Capi has brief stints with the Falcons and Cardinals before he was signed to the Giants practice squad at the start of the regular season. New York later promoted him to their active roster before placing him on injured reserve and eventually cutting him loose with a settlement.
The Bills later signed him to their practice squad before promoting him to the active roster. Unfortunately, Buffalo waived Capi back in April.
In 2017, Capi appeared in eight games and recorded seven tackles, one sack and a forced fumble for the Giants and Bills.
