The Denver Broncos officially waived LB Joe Dineen from injured reserve with an injury settlement on Thursday.
Dineen, 23, wound up going undrafted out of Kansas back in April. He later agreed to a three-year, $1.755 million contract with the Broncos.
However, Denver waived Dineen with an injury designation coming out of the preseason and he later reverted to their injured reserve list.
During his five-year college career at Kansas, Dineen recorded 382 tackles, 8.5 sacks, an interception, two fumble recoveries and six pass defenses over the course of 47 games.
