The Cleveland Browns announced Tuesday that DT Andrew Billings has opted out of the 2020 season.
The Browns also placed WR Ja’Marcus Bradley on the reserve/COVID-19 list.
The COVID-19 list was created this summer for a player who either tests positive for or who has been quarantined after having been in close contact with an infected person or persons.
Players will remain on the list until they are medically cleared to return.
Billings, 25, was drafted in the fourth round out of Baylor by the Bengals in 2016. He played out the final year of his four-year contract worth $2,875,844 with the Bengals.
Billings later agreed to a one-year, $3.5 million contract with the Browns this past March.
In 2019, Billings appeared in all 16 games for the Bengals and recorded 35 total tackles and one sack. Pro Football Focus has him rated as the No. 44 interior defensive lineman out of 114 qualifying players.
