Browns Inquired About Sam Bradford’s Availability

ESPN Cleveland’s Tony Grossi reports that the Cleveland Browns checked in with the Rams regarding the available of QB Sam Bradford before discussing a move up to the #2 overall pick.

Clubs inquired,” said Rams head coach Jeff Fisher. “But there was no consideration whatsoever on our part (to trade Bradford).”

Browns head coach Pat Shurmur actually worked with Bradford during his rookie season in St Louis, but pulling off such a trade would have been very expensive for the Browns, considering Bradford’s current contract.

Cleveland has said that they’re behind Colt McCoy as their starting quarterback in recent days, but every indication seems to suggest the opposite. There’s no reason to think that they’re not, at the very least, considering Ryan Tannehill at #4 overall.
