The Cleveland Browns announced Saturday that they’ve activated TE Harrison Bryant, S Ronnie Harrison Jr, and LB Malcolm Smith from the COVID-19 list.
The Browns also promoted LB Montrel Meander, WR Ja’Marcus Bradley, CB A.J. Green, and T Alex Taylor to their active roster and released DT Joey Ivie from their practice squad.
Harrison, 23, was selected with the No. 93 overall pick out of Alabama by the Jaguars in 2018. He agreed to a four-year, $3,263,032 contract that includes an $803,032 signing bonus.
Harrison was in the third year of his rookie deal when the Jaguars traded him to the Browns heading into the 2020 season.
In 2020, Harrison appeared in 11 games for the Browns and recorded 38 tackles, one sack, one fumble recovery, one interception returned for a touchdown and seven pass defenses. Pro Football Focus rated Harrison as the No. 12 safety out of 91 qualifying players.
Bryant, 22, was selected with the No. 115 overall pick in the fourth round by the Browns. He’s currently in the first year of his four-year, $4.1 million contract with Cleveland.
In 2020, Bryant has appeared in 15 games for the Browns and caught 24 passes for 238 yards receiving and three touchdowns.
