The Cleveland Browns announced Friday that they’ve promoted WR Blake Jackson to their active roster and placed LB Tanner Vallejo on injured reserve with aย hamstring injury.
Vallejo, 24, is a former sixth-round pick by the Bills out of Boise State in the 2017 NFL Draft. He was in the second year of his four-year rookie contract when the Bills waived him at the start of the 2018 season.
The Browns ultimately claimed Vallejo off of waivers.
In 2018, Vallejo appeared in 13 games for the Browns and recorded 27 total tackles, no sacks and a forced fumble.
