Browns Request Interview With Eagles Exec. Andrew Berry For GM Job

Charles Robinson of Yahoo Sports reports that the Browns have requested permission to interview Eagles VP of football operations Andrew Berry for their GM position.

Berry has been a popular name linked to the Browns as a GM candidate, depending on who they hire as their next head coach.

The Browns are also set to interview Colts assistant GM Ed Dodds for their GM vacancy, which Robinson believes is an indication that Josh McDaniels will not be the team’s next head coach.

Berry was hired by the Colts as a scouting assistant back in 2009 and worked his way up to pro scouting coordinator. The Browns would later hire Berry as their VP of Player Personnel for the 2016 season.

Berry departed Cleveland to become the Eagles VP of football operations lats February.
