Browns Shopping TE Randall Telfer & CB Jamar Taylor

According to Nate Ulrich of Ohio.com, the Browns are field trade offers for CB Jamar Taylor and TE Randall TelferĀ ahead of the 2018 draft.

Ian Rapoport of NFL Media reports Tuesday that the Browns were expected to make Taylor available for trade if they take a cornerback high in this year’s draft, so this doesn’t come as a big surprise.

Telfer, 25, is a former sixth-round pick of the Browns back in 2015. He’s currently in the final year of his four-year, $2,397,536 contract and stands to make a base salary of $705,000 for the 2018 season.

In 2017, Telfer appeared in all 16 games for the Browns and caught three passes for 36 yards receiving and no touchdowns.

Taylor, 27, is a former second-round pick of the Dolphins back in 2013. Miami traded Taylor and the No. 250 overall pick to the Browns back in 2016 for theĀ No. 223 selection in the 2016 NFL Draft.

Taylor was in the final year of aĀ four-year, $3.626 million contract when the Browns signed him to a three-year, $15 million contract. He stands to make base salaries of $4.25 million and $4.07 million over the final two years of the agreement.

In 2017, Taylor appeared in all 16 games for the Browns and recorded 62 tackles, a half sack, a forced fumble and 10 pass defenses.Ā Pro Football Focus has him rated as the No. 71 cornerback out of 120 qualifying players.
