Browns Sign S Rahim Moore To A One-Year, $1.85M Deal

Ian Rapoport of NFL Media reports that the Browns are signing S Rahim Moore to a contract on Wednesday.

  • Aaron Wilson reports that the Browns signed Moore to a one-year deal worth $1.85 million, which includes a $400,000 signing bonus.

Moore, 26, signed a three-year, $12 million contract that included a $3 million signing bonus with the Texans back in March of last year. He was set to make a base salary of $2.85 million in 2016 when he was released in a move that freed up $2,068,750 in available cap space for Houston.

In 2015, Moore appeared in seven games for the Texans and recorded 16 tackles, one interception and two pass defenses before he was later benched. Pro Football Focus has him rated as the No. 56 safety out of 88 qualifying players.
