Browns Targeting A Number Of Big-Name Free Agents

Lane Adkins reports, via Mary Kay Cabot, that the Browns have already contacted WR Julian Edelman, DE Cliff Avril, TE Brandon Myers, as well as CBs Keenan Lewis, Antoine Cason, Sean Smith and Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie.

Clearly, the Browns are looking for another cornerback and have plenty of money to be in on any of the aforementioned defensive backs.

We’ve already heard a lot of speculation that they’re among the top suitors for Avril, but this is the first time we’ve seen either Edelman or Myers connected to them.

The Browns have a staggering $46.6 million to work with, so it should be a very interesting offseason for them.
