Mary Kay Cabot of the Cleveland Plain Dealer reports that the Browns have waived DL Ishmaa’ily Kitchen, as they get their roster down to 75 players ahead of today’s deadline.
Kitchen, 26, originally signed on with the Ravens as an undrafted free agent out of Kent State back in 2012. He lasted just a few months with the Ravens before he was released at the start of the 2012 season and later claimed off of waivers by the Browns.
The Browns extended him to a orignal round restricted tender that would have paid him $1.542 million for the 2015 season.
In 2014, Kitchen appeared in 12 games for the Browns and recorded 43 tackles while playing 279 defensive snaps.
