Browns Waive OT Desmond Harrison

The Browns announced Wednesday they’ve released OT Desmond Harrison.

According to Ian Rapoport, Harrison had started missing or being late to responsibilities with the team, which precluded his release. Jake Trotter reports Harrison missed his flight and was late to minicamp.

Harrison made the Browns’ roster as an undrafted free agent last year and started the season as the starting left tackle.

Harrison, 25, was signed by the Browns as an undrafted free agent out of West Georgia in 2018. He signed a three-year, $1.71 million deal with $20,000 guaranteed.

During the 2018 season, Harrison started eight games for the Browns at left tackle. He was rated by Pro Football Focus as the No. 67 offensive tackle out of 80 qualifying players.
