Field Yates of ESPN reports that the Browns worked out former Patriots C Bryan Stork on Tuesday after they sustained multiple injuries at center in recent weeks.

Stork worked out for the Jets in recent weeks but was not signed to a contract.

Stork, 25, is a former fourth-round pick of the Patriots back in 2014. He was in the third year of his four-year, $2.697 million rookie contract when reports first mentioned that Stork was being released.

Soon after, the Patriots reached an agreement to trade him to the Redskins. However, Stork later failed a physical and the deal was off.

In 2015, Stork appeared in eight games for the Patriots. Pro Football Focus had him rated as the No. 21 center out of 39 qualifying players last year.
