Browns, WR Josh Gordon agree on 4-Year Deal

Adam Caplan of The Sideline View reports that the Cleveland Browns and supplemental 2nd round pick Josh Gordon have agreed on a 4-year deal worth $5.3M. The deal includes $3.8M in guaranteed money. Gordon stated the following, per the article:

“I am extremely excited to have the opportunity to become part of such a prestigious organization as the Cleveland Browns.  I can’t wait to get started and acclimated to a new city as well as the team.  I want to be able to contribute to the offense in any way I can, and I am ready to come in and work hard to make that happen.”

Gordon joins a crowded WR full of question marks in Cleveland. He will be competing alongside incumbents Greg Little, Mohamed Massaquoi, Owen Spencer, Carlton Mitchell, Jordan Norwood, and Josh Cribbs, along with four other rookies. Gordon will make the Browns’ roster, but it will be interesting to see what role he plays early in the season.
