Buccaneers CB Aqib Talib Likely Suspended For 4 Games?

Jason Cole of Yahoo Sports reports that Tampa Bay Buccaneers CB Aqib Talibcan expect”  to be suspended by the NFL for four games after being involved in shooting that took place back in March.

There’s probably enough doubt in this case that he won’t go more than four games, but it could be more,” a source told Cole. “It’s like he says to guys, ‘I don’t want to see you back here.’  ”

Talib was issued a felony weapons charge for the incident. This is his second run in with the law in the last two years as he was previously arrested for allegedly assaulting a taxi driver back in 2009.

Tampa Bay has stuck by the cornerback despite his off-the-field issues so they most have assumed that this was a possibility considering that he’s been apart of multiple incidents. If Talib is suspended it will put even more pressure on Ronde Barber and their secondary.
