According to Sean Jenson of the Chicago Sun Times, league sources have informed him that the Tampa Bay Buccaneers are the team with the “inside track” on signing Chargers WR Vincent Jackson.
Previous reports had mentioned that a bidding war was shaping up between the Bears and Redskins but this report suggests that there’s at least one more serious player in the running for his services.
There have been numerous team linked to Jackson in the last week so I wouldn’t narrow it done to just three teams yet. I’d expect to see multiple team’s coming out of left field to make him an offer.
