Ian Rapoport of NFL Media reported earlier today that Bieniemy is set to interview with the Jets and Buccaneersย today, the Dolphins on Thursday and the Bengals on Friday.
Rapoport adds that Bienemy has elected to not interview for the Cardinals’ head-coaching job and he’ll instead focus on these other teams.
Bieniemy, 49, played 10 seasons in the NFL for the Chargers, Bengals and Eagles before retiring in 1999. His NFL coaching career began in 2006 when he took over as the Vikings’ RBs coach.
The Chiefs hired him for the same position in 2013 and he was later promoted to offensive coordinator this past January.
In 2018, the Chiefs’ offense ranked No. 1 in points scored, No. 1 in total yardage, No. 16 in rushing yards and No. 3 in passing yards.
