Buccaneers Placing LB Kevin Minter On IR, Promoting TE Tanner Hudson

Greg Auman of the Athletic reports that the Buccaneers are placing LB Kevin Minter on injured reserve Tuesday with a calf injury and promoting TE Tanner Hudson to their active roster.

Minter, 27, is a former second-round pick of the Cardinals back in 2013. He played out his four-year, $4,390,288 contract with the Cardinals before signing a one-year, $4.25 million contract with the Bengals last March.
The Jets signed Minter to a contract in April only to release him as they trimmed their roster down to the 53-man limit. The Buccaneers signed him to a contract during the season and heโ€™s been on and off of their active roster this season.
In 2018, Minter has appeared in five games for the Buccaneers and five tackles and a sack.
