Buccaneers Placing LB Kevin Minter On IR, Promoting TE Tanner Hudson

Greg Auman of the Athletic reports that the Buccaneers are placing LB Kevin Minter on injured reserve Tuesday with a calf injury and promoting TE Tanner Hudson to their active roster.

Minter, 27, is a former second-round pick of the Cardinals back in 2013. He played out his four-year, $4,390,288 contract with the Cardinals before signing a one-year, $4.25 million contract with the Bengals last March.
The Jets signed Minter to a contract in April only to release him as they trimmed their roster down to the 53-man limit. The Buccaneers signed him to a contract during the season and he’s been on and off of their active roster this season.
In 2018, Minter has appeared in five games for the Buccaneers and five tackles and a sack.
