Daniels, 24, wound up going undrafted out of Charleston back in April. He later signed a three-year, $1.755 million contract with the Buccaneers.
Tampa Bay waived Daniels with an injury designation during the preseason and he later reverted to injured reserve. The Bucs cut him loose a few weeks later before re-signing him to their practice squad last month.
During his college career at Charleston, Daniels recorded 161 tackles and 34.5 sacks over the course of four seasons.
