Buccaneers Re-Signing LB Devante Bond

According to Greg Auman, the Buccaneers are re-signing LB Devante Bond to a contract on Tuesday.

Bond, 25, is a former sixth-round pick by the Buccaneers in the 2016 NFL Draft out of Oklahoma. He is entering the third year of his four-year, $2.48 million rookie contract and is set to earn a base salary of $630,000 this season.

Tampa Bay waived him with an injury settlement last month but is now fully recovered from plantar fasciitis that plagued him in the preseason.

In 2017, Bond appeared in 14 games for the Buccaneers and recorded 14 total tackles and no sacks.
