The Tampa Bay Buccaneers officially released LB Orie Lemon on Monday, according to the NFL Transactions release.
Lemon, 27, originally signed on with the Cowboys as an undrafted free agent out of Oklahoma State back in 2011. He spent close to two years with Dallas before joining the Chiefs and Cardinals in short stints.
The Buccaneers wound up signing him off of the Chiefs’ practice squad back in October of last year. He was just re-signed less than a week ago, so he appears to be a rotational player for the Bucs right now.
This season, Lemon has appeared in one game for the Buccaneers, but has yet to record a statistic.
